Job Description:Â We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Key Stage 1 Teacher to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering engaging and effective lessons to young learners, helping them develop foundational skills in literacy, numeracy, and social development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver creative and engaging lessons in line with the Key Stage 1 curriculum.
- Assess and monitor student progress, providing regular feedback to students and parents.
- Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that supports the learning and development of all students.
- Use a variety of teaching methods to cater to different learning styles and abilities.
- Collaborate with colleagues to plan and implement school-wide initiatives and activities.
- Maintain accurate records of student progress and attendance.
- Participate in staff meetings, training sessions, and professional development opportunities.
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Experience teaching in Key Stage 1 is highly desirable.
- Strong knowledge of the Key Stage 1 curriculum.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to create a nurturing and stimulating learning environment.
