Hello,

My client is a long established successful specialist manufacturing engineering SME serving customers in high reliability sectors. They are currently in need of a Production Supervisor to join their team in Croydon.

ROLE: You will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the GFD (Gas Filled Detectors) department and leading a team of technicians, ensuring adherence to safety and quality standards, meeting production targets and optimising processes to maximise efficiency.

SKILLS:

Strong leadership skills
Ability to communicate effectively and network with stakeholders at all levels
Well-grounded experience gained in a technical manufacturing environment, with a track record of achieving production targets and quality objectives.
Understanding of manufacturing best practice and the ability to apply this to improve processes.
Good manual dexterity and light engineering assembly skills
Be able to read engineering drawings
Excellent organisational skills

SALARY: up to 40,000 a year
