Our client, a renowned contractor in the HTP sector, is currently seeking a Quantity Surveyor to join their team on a contract basis.
Key Responsibilities:
- Preparing and analysing cost estimates for construction projects
- Managing and overseeing the financial aspects of ongoing projects
- Ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget
- Conducting risk assessments and developing mitigation strategies
- Negotiating and liaising with subcontractors and suppliers
- Maintaining accurate records of all project expenditures
- Providing advice on contractual claims and dispute resolutions
- Collaborating closely with project managers and engineers
Job Requirements:
- Strong understanding of civil engineering principles and practices
- Proven experience in quantity surveying within the HTP sector
- Proficient in cost estimation and financial management
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills
- Ability to conduct detailed risk assessments
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
- Relevant qualifications in Quantity Surveying or Civil Engineering
