Qualified English Teacher
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic English Teacher to join an amazing teaching team in Carshalton. The ideal candidate will have a PGCE or QTS qualification and proven experience in teaching English at KS3 and KS4 levels.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver engaging and effective English lessons to students at Key Stage 3 (KS3) and Key Stage 4 (KS4).
- Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback to support their development.Â
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement a cohesive curriculum.Â
- Maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment that supports the learning and well-being of all students.Â
- Participate in departmental meetings, parent-teacher conferences, and professional development opportunities.
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or a Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE).Â
- Proven experience teaching English at KS3 and KS4 levels.
- Strong knowledge of the English curriculum and effective teaching strategies.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Commitment to continuous professional development and collaboration.
