We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Science Teacher to join a thriving, supportive secondary school in Croydon. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a school rated "Good" by Ofsted, where academic achievement and student wellbeing are at the heart of everything we do.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging lessons in Science (Biology, Chemistry, and Physics) to students across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4.
- Create a positive and inspiring classroom environment to foster a love of learning.
- Ensure that all students reach their full potential by providing differentiated support.
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop the Science curriculum and share best practices.
- Actively participate in school activities, including extra-curricular events and school-wide initiatives.
The Ideal Candidate:
- Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and is able to teach Science to GCSE level.
- A passion for teaching and the ability to engage students with diverse learning needs.
- Strong classroom management skills and a commitment to creating an inclusive learning environment.
- Open to Early Career Teachers (ECTs) with a passion to develop professionally within a supportive school.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
