Job Title: Logistics & Materials Co-ordinator

Location: Croydon, London, UK

£34k + Bens

Our client is a premier production company known for its innovative approach to set design and decoration. From high-profile product launches to events they specialize in creating unforgettable experiences. With a diverse portfolio spanning across London and beyond they are now looking for an excellent Logistics professional to oversee the logistics function.

Summary:

A motivated and organised individual to join the team as a logistics co-ordinator. As a key member of the team, you will focus on the crew and vehicle bookings and co-ordination.

•Booking and giving clear instruction to the in house and freelance site teams. Ensuring they have clear instructions as to where to be and when and what tools are required

•Booking and co-ordinating agency crew for on site and warehouse work.

•Scheduling truck and van deliveries and collections - c4 trucks + hire vehicles when needed

•Scheduling drivers and key collections for out of hours work.

•Ensuring vehicles and crew levels are sufficient in the warehouse

•Sorting out last minute deliveries, collections and vehicle overspills

•Downloading and collating truck tacho data and ensuring vehicle maintenance is up to date

•Sorting out and settling parking and driving fines.

•Keeping staff records and training up to date

•Booking hotels, flights and connections for crew when required

•Uphold commitment to excellence by delivering exceptional service to clients and partners.

•Responding to out of hours driver / crew issues when required

Requirements:

•To be organised and experienced with logistics

•Warehouse & Transport management experience

•Have problem solving skills

•Good time management skills.

•Have good people skills

•A knowledge of London and the UK for delivery planning

•Experience in event logistics would be welcome BUT not essential

•A knowledge of excel
