What you will do:

  • Support and manage a caseload of children in care aged 0-16, implementing care plans and ensuring each child receives the necessary support and services.
  • Conduct assessments and reviews of cases, ensuring that the children’s needs are accurately identified and met.
  • Work collaboratively with other professionals and agencies to provide holistic and effective care.
  • Provide guidance and mentorship to less experienced social workers, sharing your expertise to enhance the overall quality of care.
  • Maintain detailed and accurate records that reflect interactions and progress with children and families, contributing to the overall quality assurance framework.

Requirements:

This role requires a qualified social worker who is registered with Social Work England, ideally with a foundation level systemic practice qualification and experience in working with children who are in care or have arrived unaccompanied in the UK.
