SEN Learning Support Assistant needed for Supporting Autism & Speech and Language Needs for a school in Croydon

Are you passionate about supporting children with special educational needs? We are looking for a dedicated SEN Learning Support Assistant to join a specialist school in Croydon, working with children aged 4 to 16 who have Autism (ASD) and speech and language difficulties.

Location: Croydon
Age Range: 4-16 years
Start Date: Immediate or as soon as possible
Hours: 8:30am to 3:30pm
Salary : £85 to £90

About the Role:
  • Provide tailored support to students with Autism and speech and language difficulties.
  • Assist in the classroom, helping students to access their learning and achieve their goals.
  • Support individual learning plans and work closely with teachers and therapists.
  • Use creative and engaging activities to encourage communication and development.
  • Help create a safe and supportive environment where children can thrive.
What We’re Looking For:
  • Experience working with children with SEN, particularly Autism or speech and language needs (preferred but not essential – training provided).
  • A patient, kind, and enthusiastic approach.
  • Strong communication skills to engage with students and staff.
