Are you passionate about supporting young people with special educational needs? We are looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic SEN Teaching Assistant to join a specialist school in Croydon, supporting students aged 11-19 with Autism (ASD), Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties (PMLD), and complex needs.
Location: Croydon
School Type: SEN School (Ages 11-19)
Start Date: Immediate
Salary : £85 to £95 per day PAYE
Hours : 9am-3:30pm
- Support students with ASD, PMLD, and complex needs in both group and one-to-one settings.
- Assist in delivering engaging, personalized learning experiences tailored to individual needs.
- Provide support with personal care and physical needs, ensuring a safe and nurturing environment.
- Work collaboratively with teachers, therapists, and other staff to help students reach their full potential.
- Experience in working with children or young adults with SEN (preferred but not essential – training provided).
- A caring, patient, and resilient approach to working with young people.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- A willingness to support students with personal care tasks if required.
