They support their young children with complex and severe learning difficulties, through a variety of different methods such as supporting their sensory development, both verbal and non-verbal communication and play therapy.We are looking for staff who want to assist children with their progression, as to make a highly valued, positive difference to their lives. However, we will also consider candidates that have some of the following:

QTS is preferred, however, other Teaching qualifications will be considered.
Experience teaching children with Special Needs.
Child Care Experience – Through personal or professional experience.
Great interpersonal and communication skills with a genuine, caring attitude.
An energetic attitude where you want to get involved wherever possible.
Flexibility with required working patterns.
A willingness to learn and have a genuine enthusiasm to make a difference.

Your Main Duties:

Do your absolute utmost to safeguard pupils and ensure their welfare, always being mindful of our set of policies and procedures.
Help us arrange and prepare for any performance appraisals we might undertake.
Review your teaching methods regularly, not to mention your programmes of work, with the Head Teacher to help hone your activity.
Do whatever you can, within the boundaries of policy, to ensure that you’re a real asset to the Head Teacher and perform all reasonable tasks.
