Job Title: ESOL Tutor

Location: Croydon, Greater London

Job Type: Part-Time/Full-Time

Pay: £25 - £35 per hour depending on experience.

About Us: We are a reputable tutoring agency dedicated to providing high-quality educational support to students of all ages who are currently out of a school placement or looking for some extra hours of support, this can include students with different SEN needs.

Job Description: As an ESOL Tutor, you will provide one-on-one tutoring sessions to students from primary to secondary school levels, dependant on experience. You will be responsible for developing personalized lesson plans, assessing student progress, and fostering a supportive and engaging learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Delivering tailored tutoring sessions in ESOL
• Developing customized lesson plans and learning materials.
• Assessing and monitoring student progress, providing weekly constructive feedback.
• Encouraging and motivating students to reach their academic goals.

Requirements:

• A strong academic background in ESOL
• Teaching qualification and/or Previous tutoring or teaching experience
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Patience, enthusiasm, and a genuine passion for education.
• Ability to adapt teaching methods to suit individual student needs.
• A degree in a relevant field is preferred but not essential.
