If so, we now have exciting opportunities for Home Tutors to join our growing team based in Greenwich, Lewisham, Southwark, Lambeth & surrounding areas.

Tutor Doctor Greenwich is a fast-growing enterprise and can offer local and flexible work to fit around other commitments, a reliable payment schedule and on-going support from the local management and administrative team.

Due to our continued growth, we are looking to recruit individuals who can tutor English and Math’s from GCSE to A-level and 11+ preparation. If you have teaching experience or knowledge in a certain subject area that you wish to share, and a passion to help others learn and fulfil their potential, you could join our fast-growing team of tutors.

All our tuition is offered face to face in clients’ homes or within the school environment, so, the ability to travel within South-East London is essential.

We are looking for tutors in all the following subject areas:

  • Primary - English, Math’s, Science
  • Secondary GCSE and A Level - English, Math’s, Science, Humanities, Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Languages
  • 11+ and Common Entrance
  • SEN tutors- with experience of teaching dyslexic, dyspraxic, autistic, ADHD and learning difficulties.

Key Responsibilities of the Home Tutor:

  • To deliver bespoke tutoring on a one-to-one basis to students in their own home, within the school environment.
  • Plan sessions accordingly and prepare material for session work and homework.
  • Complete timely session reports using internal CRM system.

Skills and Experience required:

  • Teaching / tutoring experience or subject specialist (preferable, but not essential).
  • Degree or be in final year of studies (preferable).
  • Strong academic background.
  • Confidence to teach chosen subjects following the UK National Curriculum.
  • Able to travel to students’ homes for individual tutoring sessions in Southeast London.
  • Good written, spoken communication and be able to speak English fluently.
  • Eligible to work in the UK (no STUDENT VISA).
  • Have or be willing to obtain a DBS certificate.
