Pay: 25 - 35 per hour
About Us: We are a reputable tutoring agency dedicated to providing high-quality educational support to students of all ages who are currently out of a school placement or looking for some extra hours of support, this can include students with different SEN needs.
Job Description: As an Primary level tutor, you will provide one-on-one tutoring sessions to students from primary school levels. You will be responsible for developing personalised lesson plans, assessing student progress, and fostering a supportive and engaging learning environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Delivering tailored tutoring sessions for the core subjects of English, Maths and Science.
- Developing customised lesson plans and learning materials.
- Assessing and monitoring student progress, providing weekly constructive feedback.
- Encouraging and motivating students to reach their academic goals.
Requirements:
- A strong academic background in Primary level teaching/tutoring.
- Teaching qualification and/or Previous tutoring or teaching experience. This may include a PGCE or a QTS.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Patience, enthusiasm, and a genuine passion for education.
- Ability to adapt teaching methods to suit individual student needs.
- A degree in a relevant field is preferred but not essential.
