Green Orchard Recruitment is pleased to be supporting a growing, multi-site organisation in their search for an HR & Office Coordinator to join their team in Hemyock, Devon.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced HR professional looking for a varied role that blends HR administration, recruitment, payroll, and compliance support. You’ll play a key role in managing HR processes, working closely with managers and senior leadership to ensure smooth operations across the business.

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Managing HR records, employee documentation, and the BrightHR system to ensure compliance and accuracy.
  • Supporting managers with employee relations, including disciplinaries, grievances, and performance management.
  • Coordinating payroll processes, ensuring accurate data entry and timely updates.
  • Assisting with recruitment, from job advertising to interview coordination and onboarding.
  • Ensuring HR policies, employment law, and GDPR compliance are met across the business.
  • Organising occupational health assessments and maintaining training records.
  • Providing administrative support to senior leadership across multiple sites.

What We’re Looking For:

  • CIPD Level 3 qualification or equivalent HR administration experience.
  • At least two years of HR or business support experience, ideally within an operational or engineering environment.
  • Strong organisational and multitasking skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint) and HRIS systems.
  • Sound knowledge of employment law, GDPR, and HR best practices.
  • A discreet and professional approach to handling sensitive and confidential information.
