Job
The role of Capex Controller will give you the opportunity to be involved with the following:
- Ownership of month-end reporting, capex reporting, and fixed asset register
- Analysis and reporting on large data sets
- Participation in the annual budget and long-term planning process
- Maintenance of the Fixed Assets Register
- Advising on capital projects, procurement, customs, and payment structures
- Coordination of the annual asset verification process
- Production of Capex and Central Management budget and variance analysis
- Contribution to year-end financial statements and audit processes
- Ad hoc reporting and providing management information as required
- Enforcement of Finance policies and procedural adherence
You
As a Capex Controller, you will be skilled &/or qualified in the following:
- Ideally a Qualified Accountant
- Experience in accounting for capital expenditure and fixed assets
- Proven track record with month-end procedures and reporting deadlines
- Strong journal posting experience
- Deep understanding of accounting principles
- Excellent attention to detail and a proactive approach to tasks
- Advanced Excel skills
- Strong team player ethos
- Outstanding time management and prioritisation capabilities
- Clear communication skills with stakeholders at all levels
- Knowledge of Capital Allowances and tax rules (desirable)
- Experience with ERP systems (desirable)
