Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Validation Engineer to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring that our products meet the highest standards of quality and reliability. This position requires a strong mechanical background and proficiency in various engineering tools and methodologies. The Validation Engineer will be responsible for validating designs, processes, and products through rigorous testing and analysis.
Duties
- Conduct validation tests on new and existing products to ensure compliance with specifications and regulatory requirements.
- Utilise CAD software, including AutoCAD, to create and review schematics for validation processes.
- Perform root cause analysis to identify issues in product designs or manufacturing processes.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to assemble, fabricate, and weld components as necessary for testing.
- Develop and maintain documentation related to validation procedures, results, and compliance.
- Apply Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) principles to ensure precision in design specifications.
- Provide mechanical knowledge to assist in the development of tooling required for product validation.
The ideal candidate will possess the following skills:
- Proficiency in CAD software, particularly AutoCAD.
- Strong understanding of root cause analysis techniques.
- Experience in assembling, welding, and fabricating mechanical components.
- Familiarity with schematics and the ability to interpret technical drawings.
- Knowledge of GD&T principles is advantageous.
- A solid foundation in mechanical engineering principles is essential.
