  • We are seeking a Finance Manager for our Cwmbran Office to support our management team with financial management tasks.
  • The role offers a salary ranging from £30k to £35k (pro rata) for a part-time position of 30 hours per week, Monday to Friday.
  • Candidates should have experience in a finance role, particularly with Purchase Ledger, and should be full or part accountancy qualified.
  • Key responsibilities include managing payroll, pension schemes, credit insurance, and maintaining cash flow, among other financial tasks.
  • The ideal candidate will possess excellent organizational, people, and Excel skills, along with proficiency in IT applications like Word and Outlook.

Due to continued growth, we are looking to recruit a Finance Manager to be based at our Cwmbran Office.

The purpose of the role is to be an integral member of the management team, by ensuring that all financial management is carried out in line with the Company's best working practice.

Salary & Benefits

  • £30k - £35k (pro rata)
  • Monday - Friday, 30 hours per week.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the management team, focussing on the finance function.
  • Weekly temporary payroll and holiday pay processing.
  • Manage temporary worker pension scheme and platform.
  • Manage Factoring facility.
  • Manage Credit Insurance and limits.
  • Chase debtors
  • Pay invoices
  • Manage accountant software (Xero).
  • Bank reconciliation.
  • Day to day contact for accountancy provider.
  • Manage HMRC platform and payments.
  • VAT returns.
  • Manage weekly temporary costs.
  • Update internal control sheets.
  • Maintain cashflow.
  • Provide management information.
  • Be flexible - carry out any other duties as and when required by the team
  • Deal with all documentation regarding the finances.
  • Assist in providing an effective administrative support to the directors.
  • Maintain all systems.
  • Ensure all correct paperwork is used, completed, and filed as required

We are looking for an individual that is full or part accountancy qualified, who wants to develop their skills within our team. This individual would thrive on the challenges and detail that this environment brings so the ideal candidate has: 

  • Experience in a Finance role especially Purchase Ledger.
  • Experience of NEST pension portal.
  • Organisational ability and time management
  • Excellent people skills
  • Excellent Excel skills including formulas and pivot tables
  • Good IT skills: Word, Outlook email
