Owen Daniels are supporting a leading Manufacturing business within Aerospace in recruiting for a Validation Engineer to join the team on a permanent basis.Salary: £50,000 p.a. plus excellent benefits including enhanced pension, excellent holiday, flexi-benefits etc.Job OverviewWe are seeking a skilled Validation Engineer to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring that our products meet the highest standards of quality and reliability. This position requires a strong mechanical background and proficiency in various engineering tools and methodologies. The Validation Engineer will be responsible for validating designs, processes, and products through rigorous testing and analysis.Duties
  • Conduct validation tests on new and existing products to ensure compliance with specifications and regulatory requirements.
  • Utilise CAD software, including AutoCAD, to create and review schematics for validation processes.
  • Perform root cause analysis to identify issues in product designs or manufacturing processes.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to assemble, fabricate, and weld components as necessary for testing.
  • Develop and maintain documentation related to validation procedures, results, and compliance.
  • Apply Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) principles to ensure precision in design specifications.
  • Provide mechanical knowledge to assist in the development of tooling required for product validation.
ExperienceThe ideal candidate will possess the following skills:
  • Proficiency in CAD software, particularly AutoCAD.
  • Strong understanding of root cause analysis techniques.
  • Experience in assembling, welding, and fabricating mechanical components.
  • Familiarity with schematics and the ability to interpret technical drawings.
  • Knowledge of GD&T principles is advantageous.
  • A solid foundation in mechanical engineering principles is essential.
