Role Overview

As an Accounts Assistant, you'll play a vital role in our finance department, supporting daily accounting operations and ensuring accurate financial records. This position offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience and grow your accounting expertise.



Key Responsibilities

  • Assisting with day-to-day financial transactions and data entry
  • Managing accounts payable and receivable
  • Supporting month-end processes and reconciling accounts
  • Preparing invoices, handling expense reports, and maintaining financial records
  • Providing general administrative support to the finance team


About You

You'll be successful in this role if you're:

  • Detail-oriented and accurate, with a solid understanding of accounting principles
  • Organised and able to manage multiple tasks and deadlines
  • Proficient in using accounting software and Microsoft Excel
  • A great communicator with strong interpersonal skills


Qualifications

  • Previous experience in an accounting or finance role (experience with accounts payable/receivable preferred)
  • A relevant qualification or working towards one (e.g., AAT) is desirable but not essential
