GCSE English & Maths Tutors Needed - Dagenham, RM9 - Flexible Hours

We are looking for two dedicated tutors (or one tutor who can cover both roles) to provide home-based GCSE tuition for Year 11 students with ASD and additional needs.

Role 1 - GCSE English Tutor

Location: RM9 (5-minute walk from Becontree station)Hours: 9:00 - 11:00 AM, Monday to FridayMust be female (as per parental request)Student: Year 11 female student with ADHD & ASD, working at GCSE grade 3/4

Role 2 - GCSE Maths & English Tutor

Location: RM9Hours: 12:00 - 3:00 PM, Monday, Wednesday & ThursdayOpen to male or female tutorsStudent: Year 11 male student with ASD & social anxiety, working at GCSE grade 2

Both students will have a parent present during sessions.

Ideal Candidate:
  • Experienced in teaching GCSE English and/or Maths
  • Confident in working with neurodiverse students
  • Patient, engaging, and able to adapt teaching strategies to individual needs
  • Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one)
