Supply Teacher – Barking and Dagenham

We work closely with Schools throughout Barking and Dagenham to ensure all staff absence/sickness is covered by qualified teachers on an ad hoc basis. Some of these positions can progress into permanent work if desired.

The schools in need of regular cover are a mix of Primary, Secondary and SEND Schools.  We require qualified teachers that can teach within EYFS to KS5.  Wherever possible we will utilise you within your specialism but given the nature of supply a degree of flexibility will be required.

The schools need someone who is able to hit the ground running, effective knowledge of the curriculum and behaviour management strategies are essential. You must be able to build rapport quickly with students and staff and adapt to individuals needs and learning journeys. This role requires a confident Supply Teacher who can quickly adapt to the surroundings of a new classroom.

A relevant teaching qualification is required for this role.  You will also need an enhanced DBS on the update service, this can be applied for via ourselves if required.
