PMLD Teaching Assistant

TimePlan Education is seeking a passionate and driven PMLD (Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties) Teaching Assistant to join a fantastic school in Haringey. This is a full-time position, starting in January 2025, and offers an excellent opportunity for someone with experience supporting individuals with complex needs.

The Ideal Candidate Should:

• Have experience working with children or individuals with Special Educational Needs (SEN), particularly those with PMLD, on a 1:1 or group basis.
• Relevant training or experience in areas such as Team Teach, Moving and Handling, PECS, or Makaton (desirable but not essential).
• Possess strong interpersonal skills and a compassionate, patient approach.
• Be proactive, take initiative, and be committed to working five days a week.

• Location: Haringey
• Start Date: January 2025
• Hours: 08:30 - 16:00, Monday to Friday
• Pay: Minimum rate of 90 per day, with potential for higher rates depending on experience and qualifications..
