Warehouse Operative

At their state-of-the-art facility, our client is constantly pushing the boundaries of innovation and delivering the highest quality products to their customers. As a Warehouse Operative, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that their operations run smoothly.

Schedule:

  • Monday to Friday
  • Dagenham
  • Parking on site

What you'll be doing:

  • Receiving and unloading incoming stock, ensuring accurate documentation and quality checks are carried out
  • Sorting, storing, and labelling items correctly in designated warehouse areas
  • Picking and packing orders for delivery or collection, following strict guidelines to maintain product integrity
  • Operating machinery and equipment, such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and shrink-wrap machines
  • Collaborating with other team members to meet deadlines and achieve targets
  • Maintaining a clean and organised work environment, adhering to health and safety guidelines

What we're looking for:

  • Counterbalance Forklift licence is essential
  • Experience is desirable but not essential
  • VNA licence is beneficial
  • Previous experience in a warehouse or logistics role is desirable but not essential, as training will be provided
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to work accurately in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritise tasks effectively
  • Physical fitness and the ability to lift and move heavy items safely
  • A positive attitude and a willingness to learn and adapt to new processes
