Warehouse Operative

At their state-of-the-art facility, our client is constantly pushing the boundaries of innovation and delivering the highest quality products to their customers. As a Warehouse Operative, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that their operations run smoothly.

Schedule:

Monday to Friday
Dagenham
Parking on site

What you'll be doing:

Receiving and unloading incoming stock, ensuring accurate documentation and quality checks are carried out
Sorting, storing, and labelling items correctly in designated warehouse areas
Picking and packing orders for delivery or collection, following strict guidelines to maintain product integrity
Operating machinery and equipment, such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and shrink-wrap machines
Collaborating with other team members to meet deadlines and achieve targets
Maintaining a clean and organised work environment, adhering to health and safety guidelines

What we're looking for:

Counterbalance Forklift licence is essential
Experience is desirable but not essential
VNA licence is beneficial
Previous experience in a warehouse or logistics role is desirable but not essential, as training will be provided
Strong attention to detail and the ability to work accurately in a fast-paced environment
Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritise tasks effectively
Physical fitness and the ability to lift and move heavy items safely
A positive attitude and a willingness to learn and adapt to new processes
