Job Purpose
  • Preparation and finalisation of accounts for Sole Traders, Partnerships, and Limited companies
  • Preparation of tax computations for the same portfolio
  • Review of VAT returns prepared by the client
  • Lead audits for Limited companies
  • Supervise junior staff, including review working and knowledge sharing
  • Build trusted client relationships, acting as their 'go-to’ person
  • Champion your own professional development, undertaking training opportunities
  • Work directly with the senior managers to ensure expectations, deadlines, and budgets are being met

The Successful Applicant
  • ACA or ACCA qualified with previous experience in practice
  • Or AAT qualified and studying towards ACA/ACCA or with a desire to begin study
  • Experience leading audits from planning to completion
  • Adept at the preparation of statutory accounts
  • A hands-on team player who can also work autonomously
  • Excellent work ethic, self-motivated and reliable
  • Strong communication skills both verbal and written
  • Able to build strong relationships with clients, colleagues, and third parties
  • Good awareness of current affairs and solid commercial acumen
  • A can-do attitude and a proactive problem solver
