This role will be both challenging and rewarding, offering the chance to make a real impact in a business that's rapidly evolving. As a Management Accountant, you'll:

  • Work closely with the Financial Controller, taking ownership of key financial processes
  • Assist with system implementation and improvements
  • Manage daily accounting tasks such as balance sheet reconciliations and management accounts
  • Support financial control by identifying and resolving discrepancies
  • Handle VAT returns and international tax matters
  • Track and produce costings to support decision-making
  • Contribute to the implementation of NetSuite
  • Work on finance projects aimed at improving overall business efficiency

This isn't a role for someone who's just looking to maintain the status quo. You'll need to be adaptable, detail-oriented, and ready to embrace the challenges that come with growth and change.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • A fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, or CIMA)
  • Hands-on experience in management accounts, reconciliations, and cost tracking
  • NetSuite experience is highly desirable, but strong ERP experience will be considered
  • Advanced Excel skills
  • Ideally, experience in a stock-based business, warehouse, or retail environment
  • A problem-solving mindset, keen eye for detail, and ability to identify and resolve discrepancies
  • The ability to hit the ground running, take initiative, and tackle the complexities of a business in transition
