Qualified Accountant / Audit Senior to Audit Manager

Your new companyAn established Practice, with over 60 years' presence in the region and a network of offices, is looking for an Auditor Senior who has ambitions to become an Audit Manager. The Practice has a diverse portfolio of clients and prides itself on delivering exceptional audit & accounting services.Your new roleAre you an experienced Audit Senior looking to take the next step in your career? I am looking for a motivated and detail-oriented individual to join my client's established team as an Audit Senior, with ambitions to become Audit Manager. In this role, you will lead audit engagements, mentor junior staff, and contribute to the strategic direction of the audit team. Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage audits from planning to completion.
• Supervise and mentor audit staff, providing guidance and support.
• Develop and maintain strong client relationships.
• Ensure compliance with auditing standards and regulations.
• Identify and communicate audit findings and recommendations.
• Assist in the development and implementation of audit methodologies and procedures.
• Contribute to business development and client retention efforts.

What you'll need to succeed

• ACA/ACCA qualified or equivalent.
• Minimum of 4 years of experience in a practice-based audit role.
• Strong technical knowledge of auditing standards and regulations.
• Excellent leadership and team management skills.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Proven track record of managing multiple audit engagements.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Experience of Charity accounts would be preferential, but not essential.
