Are you an experienced Architectural Technician who wants to play a crucial role in some of the most prestigious projects within County Durham and the North East?

You will oversee the technical aspects of projects from conception to completion, ensuring adherence to timelines and budgets, work in cohesion with various teams, including architects, engineers, contractors, and consultants.

This company are a well established Architectural firm, who has designed, built, and extended homes, delivering spaces which meet the needs of their clients and their families. From delivering large development for a housing association through to individual new build homes, residential conversions and extensions, space planning, internal refurbishments and interior design, our client take a bespoke approach to architectural design to offer their clients a service that is tailored to their exact requirements.

This role would suit an experience Architectural Technician looking for an exciting new opportunity to play an integral role for a rapidly growing company who will continually invest in you and your career

The Role:

• Primary responsibility will involve translating the design concepts created by architects into detailed technical drawings and specifications that can be used for construction.
• Collaborate with architects, engineers, and other stakeholders
• Ensure designs meet technical and regulatory standards.
• Produce comprehensive construction documentation, including detailed drawings, schedules, and specifications.
• Review and evaluate contractor submittals to ensure compliance with design intent and specifications.
• Oversee the technical aspects of projects from conception to completion, ensuring adherence to timelines and budgets.
• Coordinate with various teams, including architects, engineers, contractors, and consultants.
• Hours of work are Monday to Friday (Apply online only) - opportunity for Hybrid working.

The Person:

• Architectural Technician, Architectural Technologist or Architectural Assistant
• Proficiency in CAD (Revit cross training provided)
