We have an excellent opportunity for an experienced Customer Account Manager to look after specific client accounts on a temporary basis initially for 6 months in the Darlington area.

You will act as the single-point-of-contact for assigned customer accounts; managing the entire order life cycle to ensure orders are processed on time to the clients requirements.

The key responsibilities will be as follows;

* Manage customer accounts throughout the order life cycle, including setup, order entry/modification, escalations, and logistics.* Act as the main contact for customers, distribution centres, manufacturing plants, and cross-functional departments to process and fulfil orders.* Provide accurate documentation and continuous communication to customers.* Resolve complex customer inquiries through research and understanding of the clients processes.* Escalate complex issues to higher support levels with proper documentation.* Ensure compliance with export policies and compile necessary export/shipping documentation.* Prepare and distribute internal and customer reports.* Understand and follow Customer Order Management policies, procedures, and metrics.* Support departmental goals and initiatives for proactive customer support.* Participate in process improvement projects.

You must have previous customer management experience and have excellent communication and organisation skills. Knowledge of supply chain and logistics would be an advantage but not essential and if you have used Oracle in the past this would be beneficial. You must have excellent IT skills including Excel, Outlook and Teams.

The hours of work are 8.00am - 4.30pm Monday to Friday, however they can be flexible. This is a 6 month temporary role initially with the possibility of it being extended.
