Our client, a leading business in their field, is looking for a proactive and results-driven Sales Executive to join their growing team in Catterick.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced sales professional to develop new business and support the wider sales function.

The Role

  • Proactively engage with warm leads and dormant accounts to generate new business opportunities.
  • Work closely with the sales team to follow up on exhibition leads and previous inquiries.
  • Communicate with potential customers via phone, email, and LinkedIn to promote the company’s products and services.
  • Provide accurate and timely quotes in collaboration with internal teams.
  • Ensure successful sales handovers to internal colleagues for smooth order processing.
  • Maintain a strong understanding of the product range to effectively engage customers.
  • Keep the CRM system up to date with all customer interactions.
  • Attend industry exhibitions and events to represent the business and increase brand awareness.
  • Assist with presentations to both new and existing customers.
  • Support the internal sales team with order processing and general sales functions.

What’s Required?

  • Previous B2B sales and/or purchasing experience, ideally within electronics manufacturing or distribution.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to negotiate effectively.
  • Confident in using Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel, and Word.
  • High attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Previous experience using ERP and CRM systems is advantageous.
