Blue Arrow are looking for a Chef De Partie to work at a well known 5* hotel, spa and golf course in Darlington.

This is a permanent position due to start asap with interviews taking place straight away.

Annual salary of £28,121.60 based off a 40 hour working week. Working days between Monday - Sunday.

The Role

The main responsibilities of the Chef de Partie role will be
* Monitor the quality and presentation of all food served to ensure that it is up to 5* standard
* Plan and place orders to selected food suppliers on a daily and weekly basis to ensure stock availability
* Check all fridges to ensure they are stocked with the necessary ingredients in preparation for service and highlight any stock shortages to a senior chef
* Be able to meet deadlines and work calmly under pressure, to willingly undertake any tasks when requested by a senior member of the team
* Be creative in order to help with suggestions on new menus and dish ideas
* Train, coach and aid the development of junior chefs within the kitchen
