The Role

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Pensions Centre Manager to lead the Pensions Centre teams, ensuring the delivery of a high-quality, member-first administration service. This role is crucial in securing the futures of our members by providing an efficient and effective service to trustees, employers, and members.

As the Pensions Centre Manager, you will ensure a "right-first-time" service, consistently meeting SLAs and member satisfaction measures. Utilising operational insights and management information (MI), you will maintain a clear understanding of resource requirements and proactively address challenges to ensure seamless service delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the Pensions Centre teams to deliver a member-focused, high-quality administration service.
  • Ensure SLAs and member-first measures are consistently achieved.
  • Use MI and operational data to drive sound business decisions and address resource challenges effectively.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement, implementing innovative solutions to enhance efficiency and service quality.
  • Support, coach, and mentor team members, building a collaborative and high-performing team environment.
  • Guide the team through change initiatives, ensuring smooth transitions and maintaining service excellence.

The PersonThe ideal candidate will bring:

  • Proven operational experience in managing and coaching teams to deliver high-quality results, particularly in a customer-focused environment.
  • Strong leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and mentor teams in a collaborative and supportive manner.
  • Experience in using MI to inform strategic decisions and drive operational improvements.
  • A track record of successfully managing teams through change and embedding a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the resilience to handle challenges and act decisively under pressure.
