We are looking for an experienced joiner to join our Internal Planned Maintenance team in Darlington. This project runs 50 weeks a year, working in occupied council houses to upgrade kitchens, bathrooms, and essential fittings.
About the RoleAs part of the team, you will be responsible for:
- Fitting kitchens from drawings. Worktops are delivered cut to length plus 100mm and edged
- Installing kitchens using joint strips. No mason mitres
- Constructing boxings in kitchens, bathrooms, and separate WCs if applicable
- Installing skirtings, fitting kitchen window sills, and plying bathroom floors
- Completing wall boarding and other joinery tasks as directed by the site manager
- Stable, long-term work with ongoing projects
- A structured schedule with work completed in five-day cycles
