A new role within Administration in the Darlington area!

I am working with a Darlington based company as they require an Administrator to join their team on a full time basis.

As the successful candidate, you will play a vital role in the team, supporting the smooth running of the office. Your responsibilities will include handling confidential and time-sensitive materials, and you will need to communicate effectively via phone and email. Ensuring accuracy, high quality, and timely completion of all tasks will be essential to your role.

Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Answer and direct phone calls.
  • Organise and schedule meetings and appointments.
  • Maintain contact lists.
  • Produce and distribute correspondence memos, letters, and forms.
  • Assist in the preparation of regularly scheduled reports.
  • Maintain a filing system manual and on Sharepoint.
  • Order office supplies.
  • Book travel arrangements.
  • Provide general support to visitors.
  • Act as the point of contact for internal and external clients.
  • Provide general support to the Directors and Senior team
  • Admin support for expenses
  • Manage inboxes for the accounts team
  • Input invoices to Quickbooks
  • Assist with Purchase Ledger

Qualifications:

  • Proven admin or assistant experience.
  • Knowledge of office management systems and procedures.
  • Excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task and prioritise work.
  • Attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong organizational and planning skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office.

Whilst the role is based in Darlington, due to an office relocation, you will be based in Northallerton for a short period of time.
