Description

  • Manage the recruitment process from initial discussions with managers to identifying staffing needs
  • Draft and advertise job roles on relevant platforms
  • Implement strategic solutions such as headhunting and targeted advertising
  • Collaborate with marketing teams to enhance social media outreach and employer brand awareness
  • Build strong relationships with external recruitment agencies when necessary
  • Support hiring managers with interview scheduling and conducting fair and compliant selection processes
  • Ensure accurate documentation and maintain scoring matrices for key roles
  • Build strong relationships with hiring managers to create an efficient recruitment process
  • Assist with scheduling, providing timely feedback, and responding to candidate queries
  • Maintain accurate records and ensure GDPR compliance
  • Conduct safer recruitment checks, including DBS and Right to Work verifications
  • Ensure all recruitment activities align with employment legislation and regulatory requirements
  • Ensure successful candidates complete all necessary documentation before starting their role
  • Prepare and administer HR documentation such as offer letters and employment contracts
  • Conduct thorough pre-employment checks, including verifying full employment history and obtaining references
  • Oversee the completion of background checks, including enhanced DBS processing
  • Compile monthly recruitment reports for People Business Partners
  • Manage relationships with external recruitment agencies, ensuring contract compliance and clear expectations
  • Support general HR administrative tasks in the absence of the People Administrator
  • Confidently manage difficult conversations such as rejection notices or providing feedback to hiring managers

Profile

  • Previous recruitment experience is essential, either in-house or in agency
  • Proficiency in using systems to enhance the candidate experience
  • Confident communication skills, both in person and via virtual platforms
  • Passionate about people and committed to providing an excellent service
  • Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
  • Experience of recruitment, ideally within a high compliance sector
  • CIPD Level 3 or equivalent qualification, would be advantageous
