Your new companyNow part of a UK-wide Group, this company has seen rapid growth and, as a result, they are looking to appoint an additional Sales Ledger & Credit Control Assistant to join the growing team in Darlington. Your new roleSupporting the FD you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of clients, undertaking:-

  • Sales ledger database management
  • Setting up direct debits for individual customers
  • Raising sales ledger invoices
  • Liaising with customers with regards credit notes and resolving queries
  • Credit control
  • Monitoring aged debt
  • Assisting clients with payment plans where needed

What you'll need to succeedIdeally you will be part-qualified AAT and already have some experience of working within sales ledger and proactively chasing outstanding debt. However, applications from enthusiastic administrators who are keen to move into finance will also be considered, especially if you have experience of Sage and Excel.Joining a small, but growing team, you will be someone who is keen to learn, enjoys multi-tasking and thrives in a fast-paced environment. What you'll get in returnWhilst this is a full-time role of 37 hours per week, slight reduced hours of 26+ per week can be considered for the right candidate.
