Are you an experienced Accounts professional looking for your next opportunity? My client is hiring an Accounts Assistant to join their finance team in Stockton-on-Tees on a full-time, permanent basis. In this role, you will support the finance team by assisting with daily financial operations and ensuring smooth accounting processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Processing invoices using Sage
- Assisting with the management of Sales Ledger and Purchase Ledger
- Supporting bank reconciliations
- Assisting with weekly and monthly payroll processing
- Helping with the preparation of monthly accounts
- Assisting in the preparation of financial statements
- Supporting the completion of VAT returns
- Providing administrative support to the Financial Controller, including assisting with year-end accounts preparation
Essential Skills:
- Strong Excel skills
- Experience using Sage
- Proven experience in an accounting or finance role
Additional Information:
- Hours: 8am-5pm (42.5 hours per week)
- Hybrid working options (discussed individually)
