As a Support Worker, you’ll be providing vital support in a specialist school environment:

  • 1:1 Support: Assist individuals with SEND and SEMH needs, using tailored strategies to help them succeed and feel empowered.
  • Learning Companion: Support students in achieving their learning goals and create an environment where they feel confident and capable.
  • Calm in the Storm: Help de-escalate challenging situations with patience, empathy, and understanding.
  • Positivity Dynamo: Bring a can-do attitude and a positive energy to create a welcoming and nurturing atmosphere.
  • Behaviour Champion: Use your skills to maintain a positive and respectful environment, supporting students with their behaviour and social development.
  • Empowerment Partner: Encourage independence, self-confidence, and resilience in every individual you work with.

We’re Looking for Compassionate Individuals Who:

  • Have experience (or a passion to gain experience) supporting individuals with challenging behaviour or additional educational needs in a UK-based school or care environment.
  • Are great communicators, able to build rapport and engage with students in a meaningful way.
  • Can create a safe, inclusive, and supportive environment for individuals with diverse needs.
  • Hold an Enhanced DBS (or are ready to obtain one and get started!).
  • Have Moving and Handling training and experience.
