Your Mission, Should You Choose to Accept It:
As a Support Worker, youâll be providing vital support in a specialist school environment:
- 1:1 Support: Assist individuals with SEND and SEMH needs, using tailored strategies to help them succeed and feel empowered.
- Learning Companion: Support students in achieving their learning goals and create an environment where they feel confident and capable.
- Calm in the Storm: Help de-escalate challenging situations with patience, empathy, and understanding.
- Positivity Dynamo: Bring a can-do attitude and a positive energy to create a welcoming and nurturing atmosphere.
- Behaviour Champion: Use your skills to maintain a positive and respectful environment, supporting students with their behaviour and social development.
- Empowerment Partner: Encourage independence, self-confidence, and resilience in every individual you work with.
Weâre Looking for Compassionate Individuals Who:
- Have experience (or a passion to gain experience) supporting individuals with challenging behaviour or additional educational needs in a UK-based school or care environment.
- Are great communicators, able to build rapport and engage with students in a meaningful way.
- Can create a safe, inclusive, and supportive environment for individuals with diverse needs.
- Hold an Enhanced DBS (or are ready to obtain one and get started!).
- Have Moving and Handling training and experience.
