We are currently seeking experienced Child Protection Social Workers for temporary positions in the Darlington Area.

Job Description:
As a Child Protection Social Worker with Randstad, you will be at the forefront of safeguarding and ensuring the well-being of children in the North West.
This challenging yet highly rewarding role will require you to work with dedication and empathy to protect and support vulnerable children and their families.

Key Responsibilities:

- Conduct comprehensive assessments of children at risk or in need.
- Develop and implement child protection plans in collaboration with families, support networks, and relevant agencies.
- Provide emotional support and guidance to children and their families facing complex and sensitive situations.
- Work closely with multidisciplinary teams, external agencies, and healthcare professionals to provide a holistic approach to child protection.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date case records, complying with all legal and professional standards.
- Stay informed about current legislation, regulations, and best practices in child protection.
- Participate in case conferences, team meetings, and continuous professional development activities.

Requirements:

- Degree in Social Work.-
- Social Work England (SWE) as a Social Worker
- Proven experience in child protection social work.
- Empathy, patience, and a strong commitment to safeguarding children.
- In-depth knowledge of UK child protection legislation and policies.
