Description
- Manage all aspects of day-to-day bookkeeping and accounting processes including but not limited to: A/P, A/R, payroll, journal entries and bank reconciliations
- Assist in Preparing monthly, quarterly and annual financial reports for 1 business entity
- Supporting Management Accounts related to 1 key business entity
- Coordinate with the finance team to complete assigned accounting tasks within deadlines
- There will be some ledgers and daily transactions involved for the Purchase Ledger.
- Monitor financial transactions and reports
- Implement and adhere to the company's or department's financial policies and procedures
- Attend finance department and company-wide meetings, sometimes assisting with financial reporting to managers and senior executives
- Communicate with the team to manage and coordinate accounting functions
Profile
A successful Bookkeeper / Assistant Accountant should have:
- Knowledge of bookkeeping and accounting best practices
- Proficiency in necessary technology, including Microsoft Office, databases and software (Good level of Excel ability)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work with a team and independently when required
