A leading housing association, are seeking a Finance Officer (Service Charges) to join their friendly and supportive finance team. In this pivotal position, you will be responsible for:
- Monitoring and controlling costs related to service charges, including monthly accruals and prepayments
- Accurately allocating large contract costs across numerous estates
- Providing specialist support and guidance to the service charge team
- Utilizing finance systems to ensure service charge data is processed efficiently
The ideal candidate will have:
- At least started their AAT or ACCA qualification, with a strong numerical and analytical skillset
- Experience in a transactional finance role, ideally within the housing or property management sector
- A keen eye for detail and the ability to work autonomously
- A customer-focused approach and the desire to continuously improve processes
