Cobb & Jones Recruitment are supporting a highly reputable global organisation in their search for a Management Accountant for their growing team. Working collaboratively with the Senior Leadership team, the Management Accountant will be responsible for internal reporting, revenue analysis and supporting with budgets and forecasting. Please note the role is fully office-based.

Responsibilities:

  • Preparation of timely and accurate monthly management accounts for the division.
  • Prepare monthly management accounts packs for review.
  • Business partner with head of the division to drive performance
  • Lead the budgeting and planning process
  • Promote financial understanding, controls and diligence across the relevant divisions through interaction with non-finance staff on issues such as cash management and asset controls.
  • Own divisional fixed asset register ensuring assets are accurately recorded, depreciated and physically controlled.

The ideal candidate:

  • The ideal candidate will be qualified accountant - ACA, ACCA, or CIMA or close to qualification.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with an analytical approach.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • The ability to build strong working relationships with non-finance stakeholders.
  • Strong understanding of accounting standards and regulatory reporting.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel and IT skills.
  • Commercially astute with good business acumen.
