Are you a driven, forward thinking Finance professional looking for your next role? We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Management Accountant to join our team on a 6 month fixed term contract.
Reporting to the Finance Manager the Management Accountant will play a pivotal role in producing accurate financial reports and providing financial insights to support decision-making across the business.
This will be a hybrid position, offering the flexibility between home and office working based in Farningham, Kent.
The succesful candidate must be available to start no later than the mid-end of October.

What does the job involve?
- The production and reporting of reliable and accurate financial and management information.
- Full monthly balance sheet reconciliations including all ledgers, intercompany, VAT and PAYE etc.
- Producing monthly management accounts
- Preparation of key weekly and monthly reports for the management team.
- Detailed analysis of customer/product & product group information including developing insight into the cost base of the operating business.
- Ad hoc projects including some systems work.
- Working with associated group companies
- Conducting costing work, preparing budgets and managing cash flows
- Assisting the management team with financial projects.
Key Skills / Experience
- Qualified or qualified by relevant experience
- Commercial acumen, with experience working closely with operational teams in a FMCG business
- Ability to work to deadlines with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Experience in budgeting, financial planning & reporting
- Advanced Excel & ERP knowledge
- Sage 200 experience is advantageous
- Designing and/or implementing systems and controls
Working hours
- Monday to Friday. Start and finish times can be flexible, part time options will also be considered.
