Asbestos Surveyor based in Dartford, London

Competitive Salary Between 35,000 - 38,000

The company is an independent UKAS accredited contractor that only deals with employees on a permanent basis, no contract work is dealt with. They have close connections to the trade association ATAC which has helped them gain stability.

My client is looking for a well-qualified Asbestos Surveyor to join their team of over 20 surveyors in London. They are a professional and trustworthy company with a wealth of knowledge that has grown since the start of this century.

Necessary requirements:

  • Qualified asbestos surveyor (P402 or RSPH certificate)
  • Authorised as a lead surveyor for at least 2 years
  • Full UK driving licence
  • Reliable and hard working with a consistently detailed approach
  • IT competent (tablet-based data capture and report generation)

Key Duties:

  • Able to identify asbestos containing materials
  • Assess the risk of materials that contain asbestos
  • Possess a high quality of communication skills both verbally and written
  • Confidently produce a concise and accurate report after surveying
  • Work in a timely manner to adhere to deadlines set
  • Have an up-to-date knowledge of industry guidelines.
