We are seeking a well-versed Asbestos Surveyor for our Client, who is a respected name within the industry. Contracts cover the South East of England, so access to the M25 would be beneficial for candidates. The role will require candidates to complete the full range of Management, Refurbishment and Demolition surveys across a wide variety of sites. Locations of work include: Romford, Ilford, Brentwood, Billericay, Basildon, Chelmsford, Wickford, Maldon, Canvey Island, Southend-on-Sea, Enfield, Harlow, Bishop's Stortford, Welwyn Garden City, Stevenage, St Albans, Watford, Bromley, Croydon, Sutton, Epsom, Kingston upon Thames, Orpington, Dartford, Gravesend, Chatham, Sevenoaks, Redhill.
Experience / Qualifications:
- Will need hands-on experience working as an Asbestos Surveyor, ideally for a UKAS Accredited outfit
- Must hold the BOHS P402 qualification (or RSPH equivalent)
- Experience writing detailed Asbestos Surveying reports and using internal databases / applications
- Strong client-facing skills and experience
- Hardworking and organised work ethic
The Role:
- Working as an Asbestos Surveyor, conducting the full range of Management, Refurbishment and Demolition Asbestos Surveys
- Servicing a mixed portfolio of Client contracts, including: Commercial, Domestic, Local Authority and Industrial
- Producing comprehensive Asbestos Survey reports
- Discussing technical issues directly with Clients and representing the company whilst on site
- Working to agreed deadlines
