Our client are looking for a cleaning technician to work at their large organisation, based close to the Dartford Tunnel area in Dartford, Kent.
You must therefore live local to this location, and within commutable travelling distance.
Pay rate is £11.86 per hour, shortly rising to £12.21 per hour.
This role starts asap and is on an ongoing basis and could lead to a permanent position after 12 weeks.
Details of the role are as follows:-
- Working alongside and around the laboratory technicians to keep the lab and public areas clean, including restrooms and the warehouse.
- Clean and buff floors, empty bins.
- Clean worktops, benching and sink areas.
- Loading and unloading glassware from dishwashers and sterilisers.
- Clear the canteen area after each meal service, maintain the coffee machine and collect deliveries for the kitchen.
- Sweep and clean the warehouse floors.
You must have the following skills and attributes:-
- Attention to detail
- Be reliable and conscientious
- Have a good attendance record
- Good timekeeping abilities
- Adaptability
- Understanding of Health & Safety procedures.
- Ability to prioritise varied workload
- Must be able to work to set procedures
- COSHH
