Business Development Executive

North Kent

£60,000 to £80,000 basic DOE + Company Bonus  Hybrid Working

Exciting opportunity! My client in Dartford is on the hunt for a driven Business Development professional to join their team on a full-time, permanent basis. This is your chance to take the lead in securing new customers and winning key contracts, with the added perk of hybrid working. If you’re ready to make an impact, this is the role for you!

Main duties include:

  • Proactively identify and win new customers and contracts, aligning with the company’s sales strategy.
  • Cultivate, maintain, and enhance strong relationships with existing clients to drive ongoing business.
  • Market and sell M&E maintenance services, including both mobile and static solutions.
  • Leverage CRM tools like Salesforce to efficiently track sales activities and manage customer data.
  • Attend networking events to expand business opportunities and build industry connections

The successful candidate will have/be:

  • Proficient in IT, with strong skills in Excel, Word, and Outlook, and the ability to quickly adapt to new systems and databases.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Demonstrated sales success within the M&E industry or a related sector.
  • Hands-on experience with CRM systems (experience with Salesforce is a plus).
  • Skilled in independently or collaboratively producing bids, tenders, PQQs, and SQs.
  • Proven track record of securing new business opportunities.
  • Experience in contract retention and fostering long-term client relationships.
