Our client, providers of worldwide Shipping solutions, are currently looking for an Import Coordinator to join their team in Dartford, Kent.As the Import Coordinator, you will be managing the import process from start-to-finish, ensuring the timely and efficient transportation of goods from suppliers to clients.Main duties of the Import Coordinator:

  • Coordinate and oversee the end-to-end import process, from receiving import orders to final delivery, ensuring compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and company policies.
  • Liaise with international suppliers, freight forwarders, shipping lines, and other stakeholders to arrange timely and cost-effective transportation of goods.
  • Ensure clients are kept up to date with statuses and ETAs.
  • Provide excellent customer service to clients, agents, and vendors to achieve customer satisfaction.
  • Ensure all files are correctly entered into the company system.

The successful Import Coordinator will have 1-2 years of Import Seafreight experience.We are keen to hear from candidates who have previous experience working as an Import Clerk / Import Coordinator or a similar role within the Shipping industry.Knowledge and experience required for the Import Coordinator:

  • Strong knowledge of import regulations, customs procedures, and documentation requirements.
  • Knowledge of international shipping terms, Incoterms, and trade compliance regulations.
  • Able to use import-related software, databases, and computer systems.
  • Excellent communication skills.
