We have an exciting opportunity for you to join a reputable contractor based in Dartford, specialising in social housing refurbishment.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare accurate cost estimates for planned maintenance and refurbishment projects in the social housing sector.
Manage the tender process from initial enquiry to submission, ensuring competitive and compliant bids.
Assess subcontractor quotes and negotiate prices to secure value for money.
Collaborate with the project and commercial teams to ensure effective cost management throughout the project lifecycle.
Review contract documentation and identify cost risks and opportunities.
Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, suppliers, and subcontractors.

Requirements:

Proven experience as an Estimator in the social housing refurbishment sector.
In-depth knowledge of planned maintenance and refurbishment works.
Excellent numerical skills and attention to detail.
Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines under pressure.
Strong communication and negotiation skills.
Familiarity with standard forms of contract (e.g., JCT, NEC).
