All modesBooking shipments with carriers including airlines, shipping lines, and hauliers.Processing shipping documentation such as MAWB, HAWB, Bill of Lading, CMR, and Standard Shipping Notes.Maintain a thorough understanding of HM Revenue & Customs regulations.Adhere to destination-specific documentation requirements.Feedback operational matters and opportunities to the Project Manager.Ensure Dangerous Goods procedures are followed for successful export in accordance with regulations.Requirements - Essential:Have 3+ UK years of experience in freight forwarding and project logistics, including out-of-gauge shipments.Strong negotiation and relationship skills.Experience with CargoWise &/or Sequoia beneficial though not essentialHigh attention to detail and strong planning and organizational skills.Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.Ability to work autonomously and within a team.Comprehensive understanding of Export Regimes and Customs Tariff.Professionalism in customer interactions, understanding customer requirements, and resolving issues or complaints.Current unrestricted driver's license.Dangerous Goods trained beneficial (but not essential)
