Role of a Registered Nurse
Are you looking for a Nursing role? We have a care home located in Dartford offering a range of services including residential, nursing, dementia, and respite care. They are seeking RGNS! You will be responsible for delivering outstanding nursing care, ensuring the well-being of our residents, and providing support in their daily healthcare needs.
Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality nursing care in line with NMC standards and care home policies.
- Administer medications and treatments, monitor health conditions, and review care plans.
- Collaborate with the care team to develop and implement personalized care for residents.
- Offer emotional support and reassurance to residents and their families.
- Supervise healthcare assistants and junior nursing staff.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and safeguarding standards.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records and documentation.
Requirements:
- Valid NMC registration as a Registered General Nurse (RGN).
- Experience in nursing care, particularly with the elderly or in a care home setting (preferred).
- Strong communication, organizational, and teamwork skills.
- Compassionate and empathetic approach to patient care.
Willingness to work flexible hours including night shifts, when necessary
